On October 26, the first session of the 4th National Meeting ‘Bosco Italia. Forestry Heritage for Sustainable Development,’ organized by the Sorella Natura Foundation, was held at Palazzo Bonacquisti in Assisi. The event was attended by experts and representatives of the forestry and environmental sector, who listened to a speech by the CEO of RSE Franco Cotana, who underlined the importance of forest management in the context of the energy transition.

The meeting focused on the contribution of Italian forests to sustainability, protecting biodiversity and mitigating climate change. The participation of the CEO of RSE enriched the debate, highlighting the crucial role of forest resources not only as a natural heritage, but also as a strategic element for the country’s energy future, with a speech entitled ‘Italian forestry heritage – biomass and energy production.’
