Decarbonisation Energy Strategies and Sustainability for End Users: the event in Milan

Linking international macroeconomic research recommendations with the development of sustainable and shared local policies.

On February 6th, at the Morandi Room of the FAST conference center (Piazzale Rodolfo Morandi 2, Milan), the conference “Decarbonisation Energy Strategies and Sustainability for End Users” will be held focusing on the analysis of the economic and social impacts resulting from the implementation of the recommendations of the Club of Rome’s “Energy4All” report, with particular attention to the European and Italian contexts.

The purpose of this event is to promote a qualified dialogue among the scientific community, policymakers and energy system stakeholders, aimed at assessing the coherence between European and Italian energy policies and the recommendations put forward by the Club of Rome, as well as at exploring the concrete implications of the energy transition for end users.

The conference will also address the economic, social and distributional effects of the transition, placing citizens, businesses and territories at the centre of the discussion. Particular attention will be devoted to the analysis of public policies and policy instruments needed to ensure a fair, sustainable and inclusive energy transition.
