On April 10-11, 2025, the “LIFE Clean Energy Transition Business & Industry Contractors Meeting” took place in Bruxelles; Simone Maggiore was invited by the European Commission as the coordinator of the European project AUDIT2MEASURE.

The main objective of the meeting was to share knowledge on the results and lessons learned of projects working on energy efficiency in small and medium companies and industry and all the coordinators of the recent EU-funded projects on energy audits measures and support schemes, energy cooperation, financing and PDA were invited.

It was also the occasion to receive firsthand from the European Commission the latest policy developments within the framework of the EU Green Deal and draw relevant policy lessons and content gaps to be addressed in the forthcoming LIFE CET calls.

Simone was asked to be the moderator of the workshop dealing with the mutual collaboration among EU funded projects, thanks to the successful experience gained in the AUDIT2MEASURE project, which established a solid network of mutual exchange among different projects using a Knowledge Exchange Space developed on purpose.
