On June 26, 2024 the “LIFE Info Day regionale 2024 – Marche” took pace in San Benedetto del Tronto; this event was organized by the National Contact Point of LIFE Programme in Italy (LIFE NCP IT), working at Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, in collaboration with University of Camerino.
 
Simone Maggiore, as the coordinator of the AUDIT2MEASURE project, was invited by Ministry of Environment and Energy Security to participate in the meeting and present the AUDIT2MEASURE project and the first results obtained in its first year and half of activity.
 
The AUDIT2MEASURE project, coordinated by the Energy Systems Development Department of RSE, is centered on the role of audits in improving energy efficiency in the industrial sector with the aim of supporting companies in adopting the audit measures necessary to reduce energy consumption by supporting their energy transition.
 
The event was successful and, after the presentation of the various topics within the LIFE 2024 funding program by Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, there were the presentations of four EU projects, financed in the previous years by the LIFE program, which was followed by a debate among participants on various issues related to the LIFE program itself.

Ministry of Environment and Energy Security’s decision to include, among the examples of LIFE projects financed in the period 2021-2027 and currently being implemented in Italy, also a presentation of the AUDIT2MEASURE project, shows the validity of the project itself and of the interest towards the first achieved results.
