The Alkeemia Battery Forum 2024, the event that brings together companies and professionals in the battery and storage industry every year to foster the development and growth of the European market by creating effective connections along the value chain, was held in Venice April 10-12 at the Hilton Molino Stucky.

RSE attended the meeting with Irene Quinzeni of the ‘Materials for Energy’ Research Group and Omar Perego, Project Manager of the Generation Technologies and Materials Department.

At the session ‘Electrolyte/additives and Battery Makers’ held on April 11, Omar Perego spoke in depth about the experimental activities conducted by RSE on the subject of sodium-ion batteries, which are considered a viable alternative to the established lithium-ion battery technology.
