The final meeting of the LIFE-REMY project in Milan

A meeting to present the results of research activities.

The final meeting to present the results obtained from the Life-REMY project, entitled ‘The evolution of modeling and knowledge on emission sources: effects on air quality policies,’ takes place on March 21 from 8:50 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palazzo Reale in Milan.

The purpose of the project is to assess how uncertainty in the traceability of the emission contributions of major anthropogenic sectors, including mobility and domestic heating, affects the results of air quality models.

Elena De Angelis, from RSE Sustainable Development and Energy Sources Department, will speak at 11:30 a.m. with an in-depth talk entitled ‘The application of source apportionment tools: the case of Milan and other European contexts in the REMY project.’

Speeches of European (DG Environment, JRC) and national (Regione Lombardia, City of Milan, Enea) institutions are also scheduled during the meeting.

The project, which started in 2021, will end in April 2024.
