DESCRIPTION
An updated version of the EMS control system software, AEDOS 2.0, consistent with the EN17255 standard, for the remote supervision and management of environmental data produced by industrial plants, with the aim of ensuring that emission data measured continuously by industrial plant operators are saved and managed securely until they are transmitted to the Control Bodies, thus limiting the danger of malicious or culpable loss or modification of the data. The software part was completed – solving some critical issues that emerged from the previous trials – by conducting laboratory tests with it, which yielded excellent results.
 
APPLICATIONS
This result is a partial element that contributes to the three-year result of having a prototype AEDOS 2.0 system and aims to contribute to the realization of a competitive and efficient industrial system and control bodies that proactively addresses environmental issues.
 
USERS
The main users of the AEDOS 2.0 system are industrial operators and control bodies (National Environmental Protection System = SNPA, Provincial Environmental Protection Agency – ARPA/Regional Environmental Protection Agency – APPA).
