Image database of ice sleeve formation on experimental span with different types of conductors (DB-2.04-1.04-2).

  

DESCRIPTION
The dataset was created by collecting images related to the formation of ice sleeves on conductors, installed on a span made to scale at the RSE experimental station in Vinadio (CN). The images are in .jpg format and cover a time period from late December 2020 to late January 2021, taken by a camera at a fixed location every 15 minutes. The images are in color for shots taken during daytime and in black and white for those taken at night.

Visual study of the phenomenon related to the formation of ice sleeves on different types of conductors.
