This two-year project completes the activities started in the 2007 Annual Implementation Plan (P1 2007 project) by bringing together research topics previously carried out in other areas in a single project.

This two-year project completes the activities started in the 2007 Annual Implementation Plan (P1 2007 project) by bringing together research topics previously carried out in other areas in a single project.

In particular, the 2008 objectives concern the development of a Power Quality system with supercapacitors;

  • the characterization of photovoltaic components and systems, and the start of the construction of laboratories for the development of multijunction cells;
  • the development and testing of management and control systems for co-trigeneration plants;
  • support for the drafting of regulations on methods for measuring the performance of fuel cells;
  • common methods for the characterization and classification of fuel from waste and identification of methods suitable for determining the fraction of biomass contained therein.
