Environmental compatibility and externalities of the electricity system

Support, in terms of information and methodologies, the assessment of both the current state of environmental compatibility of the electricity system and the external costs (environmental, social, economic) associated with it, through the availability of operational methodologies for analyzing the impact of the electricity system and indicators of the state of the environment, and knowledge of the environmental impact of the activities of the electricity system on the various environmental sectors, through systematic research that combines experimental monitoring activities with modeling and simulation.
