Field applications of innovative technologies

The 2008 activities are the logical continuation and completion of those started in P5 (2007). In particular, the 2008 objectives concern the applicability of new communication technologies; the study and modeling of superconducting devices and components for potential use in electrical systems; the comparative LCA analysis of the environmental impacts of HV bushing insulators and MV/LV transformer bushings; the management of gases used in breakers.
