Evaluating the contribution of emerging RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) / RBM (Risk-Based Maintenance) methodologies, focused on risk assessment and management, to the optimization of safety, availability and cost-effectiveness of the operation and maintenance of generating plants, identifying their proper fields of application with a view to integrating and complementing more conventional approaches currently adopted.
