Safety of the electrical system

Catastrophic natural events can seriously compromise the efficiency of the electrical system precisely in situations where energy availability is essential; moreover, accidental events associated with plant operation can heavily affect the surrounding area and its population. SISIGEN aims to make available to the electrical system a set of forecasting and assessment tools that will enable plant management while balancing the economics with the potential external consequences of accidental events, and the reduction of system vulnerability to risk factors related to catastrophic events.
