A Bayesian Network Approach for the Interpretation of Cyber Attacks to Power Systems

The focus of this article is on the analysis of resilience in terms of cybersecurity for the digital infrastructures implemented by power networks, recognized internationally as a priority due to recent cyberattacks targeting energy systems, particularly the electrical service.

In response to the regulatory framework, this article presents research based on Bayesian network formalism and real-world data. Our approach enables analysis oriented towards planning security measures and monitoring, as well as forecasting the attacker’s moves.
