A mid-term scenario analysis on the impact of apossible price cap to gas on the pan-European powermarket

The increase of gas prices has had a strong impact on electricity prices and at the European level the question arises of how to protect end customers.

In this work, the pan-European impacts of different gas price containment measures have been assessed in a mid-term scenario, analysing their consequences on the zonal prices of electricity, on transits between market zones and on the thermoelectric generation mix.
