Evaluation of the future impact of electric vehicles on the distribution network of Brescia

The paper presents a detailed analysis of the impact of EV charging on a real MV network in northern Italy, managed by Unareti.

The study considers different development scenarios and charging alternatives (smart charging); the results help to identify possible interventions to ensure safe and efficient operation of the network with realistic EV charging penetrations.
