La transizione energetica nelle aree interne: le comunità dell’energia rinnovabile come dispositivi per dare impulso a nuove ecologie territoriali

The report refers to the case study of the Monti Reatini internal area and highlights the potential for transforming the local energy system with an approach oriented towards the democratization of energy and the generation of territorial added value. It also identifies some enabling and disabling factors for the establishment of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) in internal areas.

RSE presented two reports on the promotion of Renewable Energy Communities in our country at the national conference of the Italian Society of Urban Planners (SIU). The first report refers to the case study of the Monti Reatini internal area and highlights the potential for transforming the local energy system with an approach oriented towards the democratization of energy and the generation of territorial added value.

 

It also identifies some enabling and disabling factors for the establishment of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) in internal areas. The second report identifies the interconnections between energy transition, public or social housing (ERPS), and the risk of poverty in Italy. It initiates a survey of some experiences in the creation of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) in six Italian cities—some metropolitan, others medium-sized—using mixed methods, predominantly qualitative.
