To evaluate the potential environmental impacts and benefits associated with last-mile delivery, an LCA study was conducted with the objective of comparing different vehicles (e-cargo bike, electric van, plug-in hybrid van, diesel van) by assessing their performance throughout the entire life cycle.

In recent years, the growth of e-commerce has also driven the expansion of last-mile logistics, which is increasingly playing a key role in the decarbonization of cities and the improvement of citizens’ quality of life.

 

To evaluate the potential environmental impacts and benefits associated with last-mile delivery, an LCA study was conducted. The objective is to compare different vehicles (e-cargobike, electric van, plug-in hybrid, diesel) by assessing their performance throughout their entire life cycle.
