Model Predictive Control for the Management of DC Microgrids

The paper presents a predictive control tool for a DC microgrid that can simultaneously meet different control objectives, such as voltage regulation, power exchange, and storage system management.

The optimization-based tool has been verified with good results both in simulation and through RSE’s DC microgrid.
