Activities carried out by RSE in 2019 for the dissemination of results and the exchange of knowledge with public and private stakeholders in the field of ‘Scenarios and tools for electric mobility’

Summary of the dissemination and knowledge exchange activities that took place during 2019 as part of the WP “Scenarios and tools for electric mobility” It highlights the main events organized by RSE, participation in conferences and working groups, meetings with operators and institutions, published articles, and other dissemination actions.

Electric mobility has been attracting increasing interest from a broad range of stakeholders, including institutional, industrial, and general audiences. Within the scope of the electric mobility project and the WP “Scenarios and Tools for Electric Mobility,” RSE has had numerous opportunities to share its results and exchange knowledge with other sector stakeholders. Interaction with other operators has enabled both the dissemination of RSE’s results useful for policy development or technological solutions, and continuous updates on sector developments, as well as gathering insights and recommendations for future research activities. This document provides a concise description of all the interactions RSE had during 2019. These interactions took various forms:

    • Seminars and study days;

    • National and international scientific and sector conferences;

    • Meetings with industry operators (utilities, e-mobility service providers, vehicle manufacturers, infrastructure builders) and associations;

    • Meetings with Institutions and Public Bodies (Ministries, ARERA, Regions, Municipalities, Mobility Agencies, Chamber of Commerce, etc.);

    • Meetings with universities and other research centers;

    • Preparation of articles for general magazines, scientific journals, and conference proceedings;
      Web dissemination channels created by RSE (DossieRSE and Mobility Workspace);

    • Interviews and contributions to radio, television, and web-tv programs.

    Particularly noteworthy during the year were dissemination activities related to environmental aspects of mobility and the comparison between electric vehicles and internal combustion vehicles. These topics were addressed in dedicated meetings at the Ministry of Economic Development, during the national e-Mob conference, and in a specific Dossier published at the end of 2019.
