Activities carried out in 2022 by RSE to disseminate results and interact with public and private stakeholders in the field of electric and sustainable mobility

Summary of the dissemination and knowledge exchange activities that took place during 2022 as part of the Sustainable Mobility and Interaction with the Energy System Project. Indication of the main events organized by RSE, participation in conferences and working groups, meetings with practitioners and institutions, published articles, and further dissemination actions.

In a context of strong public interest in the field of sustainable mobility, there are numerous opportunities for RSE to disseminate its research results and to interact and exchange knowledge with other stakeholders. Such occasions allow, on the one hand, the dissemination of RSE results useful for policymaking or for the development of technological solutions. And, on the other hand, a continuous update on the evolution of the sector and the collection of insights and indications for future research activities. This document reports with a very concise description all the opportunities for discussion that RSE had during 2022, which manifested themselves in multiple forms:

  • Presentations at conferences, seminars, study days;
  • Meetings with industrial operators, associations, institutions, universities;
  • Participation in international working groups;
  • Participation in regulatory tables;
  • Preparation of articles:
  • Articles in generalist journals;
  • Articles in scientific journals;
  • Articles for conference proceedings;
  • Publication of content on RSE’s web/social outreach channels (LinkedIn page, YouTube channel, website
  • RSE Dossiers, etc.);
  • Interviews and contributions to radio, television and web-tv broadcasts.

It is noteworthy that during 2022 there was a cross-sectional interest in the research activities carried out by RSE, both in the more scenaristic and environmental field (traffic modeling, LCA analysis, air quality analysis), and in the more technological sphere (innovative management of the recharging process, electrification of boats and other sectors). This confirms the importance of maintaining a multidisciplinary and “systemic” approach, providing an integrated contribution to the multiple aspects that characterize the mobility transition.
