In Perugia for the 24th Ciriaf National Congress

A delegation from RSE speaks on the topic of nuclear power for transition.

 

RSE took part in the 24th Ciriaf National Congress, dedicated to sustainable development, environmental protection and human health held on April 12 at the University of Perugia.

A delegation from RSE spoke during the session ‘Nuclear Power for Sustainable Transition.’Managing Director Franco Cotana was also present at the event.
Giuseppe Guerrera, RSE Head of Institutional Relations, was tasked with moderating the meeting.

Michele Benini, Director of the Energy Systems Development Department, spoke with an in-depth discussion entitled ‘Energy Transition Goals: Ambition and Realism.’

‘Prospects and Expectations for Fusion Energy’ was the focus of the talk by Luciano Martini, Director of the Transmission and Distribution Technologies Department.

Luigi Mazzocchi, Director of the Generation Technologies and Materials Department, gave a speech entitled ‘The Benefits of Nuclear Energy in the Decarbonization Pathway.’

Sara Rainieri, a member of RSE Scientific Committee and Professor of ‘Industrial Technical Physics’ at the University of Parma, was called upon to contribute with an in-depth talk on ‘The Role of Education in the Energy Transition.’
