Studies on local electricity production from biomass and waste

The overall objective of the project is to support the development of electricity generation from biomass by investigating the main plant engineering issues and promoting the development of innovative technologies and pilot and demonstration applications, while ensuring their environmental compatibility.

The project takes advantage of the synergy with numerous European research projects of which RSE is a partner: DEPCO (7 FP), BIOCOR-ITN (7 FP), FCTEDI (6 FP).
