Studies and evaluations on the rational use of electricity

The aim of the project is to develop the methodological and technological tools necessary to increase the efficiency of electricity use and supply to levels compatible with the objectives of the Action Plan on Energy Policy for Europe, in order to respond effectively and urgently to the challenges of climate change.

In the demand sector, the work will be dedicated to the analysis of regulatory and technological aspects related to energy efficiency. In the supply sector, attention will be focused on the study and validation of measures capable of reducing losses in transmission and distribution grids.
