Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico, RSE S.p.A., is indirectly controlled by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance through its sole shareholder GSE S.p.A. and, since its foundation, it has been engaged in analysis, study and research applied to the entire energy sector.

The research activity covers the energy and sustainability supply chain, from primary energy sources to all conversion and utilization systems, from energy carriers to energy efficiency and storage technologies. Particular attention is paid to national and European strategic projects, with a view to experimentation and application, to the system of central and local public administration, to the production system in its broadest sense, to consumer associations and to groupings of small and medium-sized enterprises, for which activity is also undertaken in synergy with other research centers. In its field, RSE therefore act as a trait d’union between policy makers, the business world and the population.

The great challenges of the energy and digital transition are the driving force behind RSE projects, inspired by innovation, efficiency and circularity, not only in energy, but also in economic and social terms. This activity is the result of the skills and experience of superior human capital, made up of a heterogeneous and specialized team of experts who ensure an interdisciplinary and highly skilled approach.
