Research Organisations and Universities together for developing the national hydrogen supply chain

A large delegation from RSE in Rome to take stock of the sector’s development prospects.

 

’POR H2 – Research Organisations and Universities together for developing the national hydrogen supply chain’ is the event organized by ENEA, in collaboration with RSE and CNR and held on July 16 and 17 in Rome, two years after the launch of the Operational Research Plan (‘POR’) on Hydrogen.

 

The objective of the event was to disseminate the results achieved, enhancing the collaboration between Research Organisations and Universities to create a national network of high-level skills and infrastructures and to promote frontier research, fostering the development of next-generation technologies.

 

On the first day, the plenary session was opened by RSE CEO Franco Cotana.

 

On July 17, the panel discussion on ‘Hydrogen Storage, Transport and Refuelling Systems’ featured contributions by Silvia Anna Cordieri and Marcelo Andre Muro Alvarado from RSE Generation Technologies and Materials Department, as well as Marco Bocchi and Giuliano Angeli from RSE Transmission and Distribution Technologies Department.

 

On the same day, Fabrizio Rainone, Maria Luisa Vittoria Nordio and Andrea Rossetti from RSE Generation Technologies and Materials Department took part in the meeting Producing Hydrogen from Thermochemical Processes’.

 

Pierangela Cristiani from RSE Sustainable Development and Energy Sources Department delivered an in-depth speech in the ‘Innovative Hydrogen Production Systems’ section.
