RSE participated in the 2024 edition of E-Tech Europe and E-Charge, the two events dedicated to the Italian and international electric mobility supply chain, storage technologies, and public and private charging solutions.

Michele Benini, Director of RSE Energy Systems Development Department, presented a study on the territorial spread of public charging infrastructures in the PNRR [Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan] calls, aimed at supporting local and national authorities to ensure adequate service coverage for all users and compliance with legislative and regulatory provisions at the Italian and European level. .Andrea Cazzaniga and Research Group Leader Giuseppe Mauri of RSE Transmission and Distribution Technologies Department spoke on opportunities for integrating electric vehicles in corporate premises (workplace charging) and the progress of work on the test integration of home wallboxes with smart meters 2.0, on which RSE has been working since January 2024 with a number of commercial partners.

Silvia Colnago of RSE Generation Technologies and Materials Department spoke at the meeting titled ‘Automotive Recycling and Technology Transition’ exploring the technological and economic opportunities and challenges of second-life, with a focus on research efforts to overcome the latter and foster broader development.
