Development of standards to support the needs of the national electricity system

  • Protect the interests of the national electricity sector in national and international committees;
  • Promote the development of technical standards capable of ensuring an adequate level of quality and reliability of components used in the installation and management of electrical systems;
  • Encourage the appropriate development of technical regulations for installations and for the electricity transmission and distribution grid, in order to create a certain regulatory framework governing the use of new technologies and the integration of innovative installations and systems;
  • Definition of common objectives between the various electricity companies, including regulatory guidelines of interest for future investments, with possible reduction of market prices;
  • Participate in the formulation of rules and guidelines for the implementation of European and national directives;
  • Provide technical support to the regulatory activities for the national electricity system carried out by the Electricity and Gas Activity.
