Cybersecurity aspects of power grid management systems

This first seminar of the series of seminars organized by AEIT explores the aspects of cybersecurity specific for the power infrastructure which, by its nature, plays a fundamental role for our society and as such is susceptible to attacks by malicious actors.

This first seminar of the series of seminars organized by AEIT explores the aspects of cybersecurity specific for the power infrastructure which, by its nature, plays a fundamental role for our society and as such is susceptible to attacks by malicious actors.

 

The relevant aspects for securing energy infrastructures are introduced. The new features for managing and controlling the electrical network are described, highlighting the vulnerable aspects and underlining some cases of real cyber-attacks.
