2019 Project dissemination actions

This report is an integral part of the three-year dissemination activity, and constitutes its first element. The dissemination and communication actions on the issues of efficiency and decarbonization of the industrial sector activated within the project are reported. Furthermore, new and highly efficient dissemination opportunities based on immersive systems have been assessed, examined, and designed, prompting the creation of a prototype for the topic of energy efficiency.

This report is an integral part of the three-year dissemination activity, and constitutes its first element. The dissemination and communication actions on the themes of efficiency and decarbonisation of the industrial sector activated within the project carried out within the Lines of Activity LA.1, LA.2, LA.3 and LA.4 are reported. Carrying out dissemination or communication activities on a theme such as energy efficiency in the industrial world is extremely challenging and complex, due to the different targets to which the dissemination and communication activity is addressed.

In order to involve and transmit more complex and articulated messages to different types of “public”, in addition to the more traditional forms of dissemination of research results, it was therefore intended to evaluate, examine, and design innovative dissemination elements boasting high communicative effectiveness and exploiting the potential of augmented reality devices. The proposed communication action can reach different targets (primarily identified within the industrial context), including the relevant trade associations. Following this preliminary study, exploring and activating an immersive reality pilot project on the project themes could prove useful.

Dissemination to the wider public and policy makers is also the objective of the project’s dissemination actions, with further dedicated actions. The proposed set of communication actions thus appears to reach different targets, with different levels of depth and detail, thanks to the use of diversified tools.
