Applying DLT/Block Chain Technology to Electricity Industry Use Cases

DLT/blockchain technologies enable the certified registration of transactions between peripheral actors of the electricity system with no intermediaries, thus enabling new business models in the context of energy consumption, production, distribution and marketing processes. With a view to a subsequent implementation of Proof of Concept, a summary of the technologies is given and use cases in the energy context are defined that are representative of this opportunity.
