This report illustrates the project management and results dissemination activities in the first period of the Three-Year Electricity System Research Plan (PTR) 2022-2024.

The coordination and management activity was aimed both outside RSE and internally. The external activity saw close interaction between the three subjects entrusted with system research (RSE, ENEA and CNR) who operated in a synergistic and collaborative way, encouraging the exchange of information between the different research activities of the project and therefore the make work more efficient, with benefits in terms of results obtained; this activity took place during some specific meetings, but above all during frequent contacts between the project managers of the three contractors on the occasion of the dissemination events in which they jointly participated.

RSE’s internal activity has seen frequent discussions between the Project Manager, the Deputy Project Manager, the heads of the research groups, the contacts of the research contracts and, often, the contacts of the individual research activities, allowing the maintenance of a constant awareness of ongoing activities and expenses and to promptly make the changes necessary to achieve the objectives indicated in the PTR.

The dissemination activity of the results saw the drafting of n. 14 Technical Reports aimed at subjects potentially interested in research in this area (Sector operators, research institutes, users and legislative bodies, regulators and regulators). Furthermore, n. 7 articles and carried out n. 30 articles and presentations at conferences, workshops, seminars and specialist meetings.

Participation in standardization committees (no. 10) and national, European and international bodies (no. 7) was also consistent, while interaction with stakeholders was frequent (above all, the Ministry of the Environment and Safety Energy, Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, ARERA, research institutes, electricity system managers, photovoltaic operators and agricultural operators).

The dissemination of the results was wide and also took place thanks to the collaboration of RSE, ENEA and CNR, in the “Italian photovoltaic network for research, development and innovation” (www.reteitalianafotovoltaico.it).
