This System Research Technical Report describes the management activities of the project “Support to Regulation: evolution of markets; innovation in network design and management” and all the dissemination activities inherent to what has been carried out in the related technical lines of activity during the first year of this three-year period.

Specifically, the project management activities mainly concerned the monitoring of technical-economic progress, through special internal meetings, and the supervision of technical activities through periodic meetings with the working groups involved. In addition, numerous meetings were also held with stakeholders; particular emphasis should be given to the numerous contacts with ARERA – concerning the discussion of issues of interest to the Regulator and that could be analyzed in the context of project activities – and with the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) – regarding the activities required of RSE by Legislative Decree 210/2021. Other contacts worth mentioning are those that took place with the entities involved in the project through consultancies and with other research entities, in order to compare and enrich each other’s expertise.

The dissemination activities, on the other hand, involved the drafting of scientific articles proposed to journals (1) and to conferences (5) and the related participation in the conferences themselves, the participation in training activities as lecturers (4), and the drafting of technical reports (13) for the description and reporting of the activities carried out in the project for the first year of the present Triennium.
