Demonstration of direct Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) co-combustion in pulverised fuel fired power plants and implementation of a sustainable waste-to-energy technology in large-scale energy production

Main results of the project will be:

1) Reproductive and standardised SRF quality applicable for co-utilisation in further brown coal fired power plants;
2) Process parameters based on the experience of large-scale co-utilisation and the assisting research: fuel feeding and handling, data on boiler operation;
3) Evaluation of the effects of SRF co-combustion on boiler performance, power plant residues and emissions;
4) Process technology suitable for SRF co-utilisation in brown coal and hard coal fired power plant;
5) Pseudo codes describing the combustion behaviour of different SRF fractions for utilisation in commercially available CFD-codes
