Summary of the 2nd Progress meeting on the APOLLON project

The APOLLON project started in July 2008 and is so far the largest European project in the PV field on the Seventh Framework Program. The main aim of the project is to develop CPV system with a target cost of 2 Euro/W. Purpose of this contribution is to report an overview of the results presented in the second progress meeting of the project. After a brief introduction of the objectives of the project, the following points will be considered¿ Optimization of the existing technologies¿ Characterization and Reliability¿ Environmental aspects¿ Progress beyond the state-of-the-art¿ Conclusion
